Linguist Park is an open journal to share my learning about language and people. I started a master’s program in linguistics at the University of Iowa in fall of 2016 and felt the need to document my mental growth in this field. I also want to engage in conversations with you to further widen my horizon. I stream on Youtube and AfreecaTV (for Korean viewers) for open talks about various topics including English, slang, and tabooed subjects. My current research topic is “formation of contemporary Korean slang words”.
