Linguist Park is an open journal to share my learning about language and people. I have completed a master’s degree in linguistics at the University of Iowa in 2019 and felt the need to document my mental growth in this field. I wrote my master’s thesis on the language varieties and variations in English use among native Korean speakers in Seoul. I also want to engage in conversations with you to widen my horizon.

I have been teaching English to immigrants and international students in the United States for several years. I care deeply about all human and animal rights issues and strive to make a contribution through my research and activism.
